It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth James Goyetche, age 74 in Melville Lodge on September 27, 2019. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Frederick and Estelle Goyetche (Fishaire). Kenny was employed at D.N.D. for 33 years and in his off-time loved making homemade wine, as well as spending time with his family. He was the loving husband of Barb (Spidle) for 51 years; and will be missed by his daughter, Daphne Devin (Carl) of Ottawa; son-in-law, Mario Janson of Montreal; sisters, Donna, Marilyn; brother, Paul; grandchildren, Natasha "Tash", Jolin, Nickolas, Matthew, Christopher; many nieces and nephews. Besides both parents, Kenny was predeceased by his daughter, Debra Lynn Janson; and his brother, Ron. Cremation has taken place under the care of Atlantic Funeral Home. A private family Graveside Service will be held in Oakridge Memorial Gardens on Saturday, October 5th at 1078 Old Sackville Rd., Middle Sackville. A Celebration of Kenny's Life will be held Saturday, October 5th at 229 Drysdale Rd., Halifax starting at 1 p.m. Donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Age 71, Williamswood, passed away June 10, 2020, in the Halifax Infirmary QEII. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late John William (Jack) and Loena Lawrence. She is survived by her loving husband, Glenn; sons, Mark and Bradley; twin sister, Sheila Lawrence; brother, John (Lorraine) Lawrence; granddaughter, Macy Marolyn Goyetche (her mother, Jennifer); many nieces and nephews, She was predeceased by nephew, Troy Probert. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. Interment to take place at a later date.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Dolores Goyetche on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at the age of 84. Mom passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and support of her family and with her loving son Raymond by her side. Beloved mother of Ronald, John (Barbara), Marie (Ed) Blasinski, Marian Jackson (Brad Forsyth), Raymond (Christine), Joe and left many cherished memories for her grandchildren John, Crystal (Lindbergh), Terri, Christopher (Amanda), Nathalie (Dylan), Emily (Alex), James and Emma. Great-grandmother of Lyric, Harper, Eva, Sofie, Abigail and Faylin. Lovingly remembered by her sister Marion, and many nieces, nephews. Predeceased by her beloved son Ronnie, her husband Jean (Jim), her parents Thomas and Helen (nee Potenza), her beloved brother Tommy and sister Shirley.

Muriel Marie Goyetche (Landry), 79- passed away peacefully at the end of long life of Pepsi drinking and bingo playing. Formerly of Petit De Grat she is pre deceased by her Parents Anna and Raymond Landry (Boudreau), Brothers Stanley and Eugene Landry, Sisters Madeline Bosdet, Doris Landry and former husband Kenneth Goyetche.

Muriel was cared for by her Daughter Danielle and the people at Melville lodge until Dementia took her from us on January 13th 2021. She is survived by Sons, Tony, Tim (Claudine) Jamie (Gina) and Brent. Daughters Tina (Larry) Danielle, and Darlene and many loved grand children and great grand children, as well as Siblings Velma Landry, Linda Forgeron (Donald), Alderic Landry (Carmelita) and Gerard Landry (Jeannie). Honoring our Mothers request there will be no funeral or visitation service.

We can’t say for sure where you have left us for, but for you we hope the music is country, the reunions are toasted with endless pepsi and the bingo dobbers never run dry.

Marchand, Alvina Mary, 91, Louisdale. It is with sadden hearts that we the family of Alvina have to announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on March 29, 2014 at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston. Born in Louisdale, she was daughter of the late Frank and Leda (Marchand) Goyetche. Considered a kind, loving and selfless matriarch by many she found pure joy in providing, helping and caring for others. To call her a giver doesn't do her justice. Giving was simply a part of her nature, a portion her soul. Alvina was a woman of strong faith who supported her family, friends and community with a very big and generous heart. She was an active volunteer in her community serving night lunches at the Strait Richmond Hospital as well as a lifetime member of St. Louis C.W.L. Alvina will be sadly missed by her loving daughters Barbara (Stanley) Jacobson, Florida, Geraldine Samson, Louisdale; daughter in law The´re`se (Joe) Marchand , Louisdale; grandchildren Kimberly Boudreau, Scott (Irena) Jacobson, Rachel (David) Silver, Amy Samson, Michael (Krista) Samson, Jean-Guy Marchand, Melanie (Barry) Eason; great grandchildren Dylan Zimmermann, Lennox and Quinn Jacobson, Charlotte, Max and Molly Silver, Adele and Chantal Eason, Joel Marchand, Michelle Sampson; sister Loretta Marchand, Louisdale and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Dennis Joseph, son Joseph, brothers Charles and John. Visitation will be held on Sunday in the Glen Sampson Room, Louisdale from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Louis Church, Louisdale Monday morning at 11a.m. with Rev Angus MacDougall officiating. Internment will take place at a later date in St. Louis Parish Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society, Nova Scotia Lung Association, St. Louis Cemetery Fund.
