McTAGGART, Almire Marie
89, St. Peter's, formerly of Arichat, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2009, in Richmond Villa, St. Peter's. Born in Arichat, she was a daughter of the late Alphonse and Alexina (Bonin) Goyetche. She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Britten (Richard), Martinique, and Marilyn Kristoff, Saskatchewan; sister, Blandine Eurian, Montreal, Que.; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Murray; grandson, Daniel; sisters, Theresa, Mae and Catherine; brother, Narcisse Goyctche; son-in-law, Glen Kristoff. A memorial service will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. January 17, in St. Hyacinth's Church, D'Escousse, with Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating. Interment to take place at a later date in Dominion City, Man. Memorial donations can be made to Richmond Villa Activity Fund. 60, Catalone
Charles David (Carl) Goyetche, 60, of 53 Main-a-Dieu
Road, Catalone, passed away suddenly in a boating
accident on Saturday Sept. 30, 2000.
Born in Arichat, N.S., he was the son of the late Wilbert
and Evangeline (Landry) Goyetche.
He was a member of Stella Maris Parish, Louisbourg. He
was employed as a lighthouse keeper on several stations
and retired from the Canadian Coast Guard in 1977 with
over 40 years service.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Wadden); two sons,
David (Lee Marie), Westmount, and Colin (Frances),
Catalone; and three grandchildren, Brittany, Craig, and
Bradley. He is also survived by three brothers, James
(Frances Ann), Louisbourg, Gerry (Marilyn), Main-a-Dieu
and Jackie (Bonnie), Sydney; one sister, Leona (Buddy)
MacDonald, Catalone.
Visitation will be held today (Monday) in Stella Maris
Church, Main St., Louisbourg, from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Funeral
services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday with Fr. Conrad
Edwards officiating. lnterment, Old Town Cemetery,
Louisbourg. Arrangements are under the direction of W.A.
Chant Funeral Home, Louisbourg.
Donations may be made to the Louisbourg Fire

GOYETCHE, Terri (nee Theresa Montague). 1930 - 2006. Accompanied by faithful Tammy until the end, passed away peacefully in her sleep at six a.m. on October 17, 2006 at the West Island Palliative Care Residence (WIPCR). Our Mum embraced life to the fullest, always dancing, and always leading, from her youth in Dufferin Square until sunrise on the 17th. She did it her way - with her family, with her friends, and in the community, especially at the Legion. Terri joins her beloved Raymond at the Field of Honor at 11:00 hours on Saturday, October 21, where her first husband, George "Smitty" Ward also rests. Cherished mother of Pamela, Lyall, Rodney, Warren, Daniel and Kelley and Nanny to twelve beautiful grandchildren. Visitations at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 boul. des Sources, D.D.O., QC (514) 685-3344 on Friday, October 20, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. with a ceremony at 7:30 p.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to WIPCR in appreciation of their extraordinary care and compassion.

Relatives and friends were saddened to hear of the passing of Lina M. Rhodenizer of Dayspring on Oct. 31, 1983. She passed away at home at the age of 93. She would have celebrated her 94th birthday on Nov. 18, 1983. Born in Sable River West, she was the daughter of the late Ambrose and Margaret (Smith) Robart. She is survived by three daughters, Doris (Mrs. Asberry Height), Dayspring; Mrs. Nita Crouse and Mrs. Nedra Porter both of Bridgewater; three sons, Neil, Bridgewater; Sanford and Shirley, both of Dayspring; 11 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Roland; four daughters; a son; seven brothers and three sisters. The funeral service was conducted in the chapel of Sweeny's Funeral Home by Rev. Allan Griffin of the Baptist church with interment in the family plot in the cemetery at Dayspring.

GOYETCHE, Mary Almeda - 70, Louisdale, Richmond Co., died January 9, 1998, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Louisdale, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Margaret (Linden) Samson. She was a resident of Everette, Mass., for 42 years, retiring to Louisdale 10 years ago. She was a member of St. Louis Parish, Louisdale. Surviving are her husband, Eugene (Bucky); sisters, Beatrice MacNeil, Mount St. Vincent Guest House, Halifax; Sister Bertha Mae Samson, F.D.G., Sydney; Marie Vermette, Bristol, R.I.; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Mary Almeda, Florence Margaret Ross, Edna Boyd; brother, Alfred. Cremation has taken place. Funeral at a later date. Donations to Kidney Foundation of Canada, Nova Scotia Branch. Arrangements entrusted to Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
