GOYETCHE, M. Evangeline (Eva) - 90, Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home, formerly of Antigonish Manor, died November 12, 1998, in the home. Born in Cape Auguet, Richmond Co., she was a daughter of the late Alcide and Alexina (Samson) Goyetche. She worked in the United States for many years. Upon returning to Canada, she worked as housekeeper for priests in Petit-de-Grat, Arichat, Brook Village and Antigonish until her retirement. Surviving are sisters, Margaret (Eugene) White, Louisdale; Anita White, Moncton, N.B.; brothers, Joseph (Dorothy), Bathurst, N.B.; Alfred (Helen), Dartmouth. She was predeceased by sisters, Eliza, Germaine, Theresa; brothers, Joseph and Charles in infancy, David, Peter, Amedee, Raymond. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Saturday in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish. Funeral 2 p.m. Sunday in St. Ninian's Cathedral, Rev. Bill Crispo officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home or the charity of choice.

GOYETCHE, Joseph Amedee - 78, Louisdale, Richmond County, formerly of Guysborough, died December 12, 1992, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Cape Augnet, Richmond County, he was a son of the late Alcide and Alexina (Samson) Goyetche. He is survived by two sons, David, Brantford, Ont.; Raymond, Massey, Ont.; five sisters, Eva Goyetche, Antigonish; Eliza (Mrs. Buddy Ide), Hamilton, Ont.; Theresa Bellefontaine, Montreal; Mrs. Anita White, Moncton, N.B.; Margaret (Mrs. Eugene White), Louisdale; four brothers, David, Englewood, Fla.; Pete, Melbourne, Fla.; Alfred, Dartmouth; Joseph, Bathurst, N.B.; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Blanche Marie Boudreau; two brothers, Joseph, Raymond; sister, Germaine. The body is in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today and Tuesday, 1-2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Hugh MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in parish cemetery. Donations may be made to any charity.

Halifax Herald, Jun 21, 2005 - WHITE, M. Anita - 87, Camden Place and formerly of Upton Street, Moncton, N.B., passed away in Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, N.B. on Sunday, June 19, 2005. Born in Cape Auget, she was a daughter of the late Alcide and Alexina (Sampson) Goyetche. Anita was a member of Holy Family Parish, as well as a former member of CWL, including Seniors Groups of Holy Family and Peoples Park Tower. Anita was also a former volunteer of numerous organizations. She is survived by daughter, Ann Guilfoy and her husband Michael, Illinois; son, Brian White (Kathy), Oakville, Ont.; grandchildren, Lee Anne Taylor, Sarah White, Brett and Alexandra White; three great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Donald Taylor, London, Ont.; sister, Margaret White, Louisdale; brother, Joseph Goyetche (Dot), Bathurst, N.B., and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, William J. White; son, Bill White Jr.; sisters, Eva, Germaine, Betty, and Tessie; brothers, David, Peter, Amadee, Fred, and Raymond. Visitation in Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home , 171 Lutz St., Moncton, N.B. on Wednesday, June 22, from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The funeral mass will be held in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 22, at 2 p.m. with Father Jeff Doucette officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery. Donations in Anita's memory made to Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital Foundation "Nephrology Unit" would be appreciated by her family. GOYECHE, Alfred (Fred) John - 82, of Dartmouth, passed away April 11, 2001 in Oakwood Terrace. Born in Arichat he was a son of the late Alcide and Alexina (Samson) Goyeche. He was a successful businessman in Dartmouth for 31 years where he owned and operated Portland Electrics Ltd. He was a long time member of St. Peters Church and a respected member of the Knights of Columbus holding the positions of Navigator of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus Assembly and Grand Knight Third Degree Council 3133 Dartmouth. He also gave of his time for many years with the Kiwanas Club. He enjoyed curling and golfing and was a long time member of both the Dartmouth Curling Club and Brightwood Golf Club. He also enjoyed playing bridge, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Helen (Fougere) and three daughters, Donna Barnett, Dartmouth; grandchildren, Nikki and Sarah; Maureen Goyeche, Mississauga; son-inlaw, Gary Ward; Janet Goyeche, Dartmouth; son-in-law, Wayne Skinner and sisters, Anita, Margaret and a brother, Joseph. He was predeceased by sisters, Germaine, Betty Teresa, Eva and brothers, Dave, Pete, Amadee and Raymond. He will be fondly remembered for his kind and gentle ways as well as his sense of humour. Visiting will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in Dartmouth Funeral Home, 29 Queen Street. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Peters Roman Catholic Church (Maple St.), Dartmouth. A reception will immediately follow in the church hall. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations to a charity of choice.
