GOYETCHE, M. Valerie - 93, St. Peter's, formerly of River Bourgeois, died November 12, 2003, in Richmond Villa, St. Peter's. Born in River Bourgeois, she was a daughter of the late Simon and Julia (Samson) Goyetche. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by sister-in-law, Stella Goyetche, Massachusetts; nieces, Valerie Feeney, Veronica Sommer, both of New Jersey; Jeannette Goyetche, California; Henrietta Doary (Arthur), River Bourgeois; nephews, Paul and Michael Goyetche, both of Massachusetts. She was predeceased by brothers, Anthony, Clifford, Elmer; niece, Florence; nephews, Patrick, Richard. Visitation 2-9 p.m. today in River Bourgeois Community Funeral Parlour, River Bourgeois. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. John The Baptist Parish, River Bourgeois, Rev. Reginald Currie officiating. Burial to follow in St. John The Baptist Parish Cemetery, River Bourgeois. Memorial donations may be made to Richmond Villa Activity Fund. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat.

Henry, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, was born in Cape Breton and moved to the U.S. where he resided in Watertown, MA for more than 40 years.

He was a self-employed carpenter and was employed at Coolidge Bank & Trust.

GOYETCHE, Estelle Mary - 77, Halifax, died October 22, 1992, in Halifax. Born in Poulamon, Richmond County, she was a daughter of the late James and Alvina (Stone) Fougere. She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn (Mrs. John Patton), Fairfax, Virg.; Donna (Mrs. Allan Fancy), Lower Sackville; three sons, Kenneth, Williamswood, Halifax County; Paul, Sydney; Ronald, Ottawa; two sisters, Mrs. Clarice Goyetche, Kline Heights, Halifax County; Mrs. Kay Taylor, Dartmouth; brother, Willie, Halifax; 12 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick; two sisters, Bernice, Dorothy; two brothers, Carl, Melvin. The body is in Atlantic Funeral Home, Bayers Road, Halifax, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Lloyd Robertson officiating. Cremation will follow. Burial will be at a later date in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.

GOYETCHE, Raymond Alexander - 76, Halifax, died peacefully in QEII Health Sciences Centre on September 3, 1998. Born in Cape Auguet, Richmond Co., he was a son of the late Miller and Almeir (Boudreau) Goyetche. He was a veteran of the Second World War having served in the Canadian Army. He was an employee with Yellow Cab for many years retiring in 1992. He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Martell); sons, Barry and Kevin, Halifax; daughter, Heather and husband Robert Lynch, St. Margarets Bay; granddaughters, Tracy and Shauna Edmunds, Miranda and Kate Goyetche, Halifax; Rebecca and Marissa Lynch, St. Margarets Bay; sister, Gladys Boudreau, Burlington, Mass.; brothers, Clarence and Eddie, Cape Auguet; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Freddie and Walter; sisters, Priscilla Goyetche, Rita Martell, Freda Landry, Isabelle Olsen and Emma Goyetche; stepmother, Mary Goyetche. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, September 4, in
J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Rd., Halifax. Funeral will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday, September 5, in St. Michael's Church, Herring Cove Road, Rev. Ronald Cairns officiating.
