With great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Raymond (Ray) Joseph Despres at Royal Jubilee Hospital with his family at his side.
Ray was born in Niagara Falls, ON and grew up in St. Catharine’s, ON until packing up and heading West in the spring of 1972 landing in Ladysmith, BC that summer.

He could fix practically anything and could often be found in his shop working on his boat or tinkering on one thing or another.
